I suppose it’s the fearmongering effect of encouraging people to think everyone they see might be up to evildoing that bothers me.  Because your garden-variety neighborhood watch seems all mom and apple pie to me.

    The LAPD is unintentionally giving an open invitation to the tinfoil hat brigade…oh well. If they have the manpower to separate the wheat from the chaff…
