Just Because

I created the image above, and it resided on my refrigerator for nearly the entirety of the Bush debacle.  I always thought it deserved to be seen by more people, not only because of the matching muu-muus or because both Zippy and Bush were well-known pinheads, but because of the absolute perfection of the match in their expressions.  Now, well over a year after the end of our long national nightmare, I finally have a scanner, so thought I’d serve it up.

It’s really not a fair comparison, because Zippy is not only likeable but also, for a pinhead, remarkably astute.  He’s also adept with the English language.  And Zippy is a smartass, not a dick.  But you’ve got to admit, the physical resemblance is remarkable.
