Apparently, the White House is afraid of Right Wing Media outlets. At least that’s what I got from all the various apologies – “it’s all these damn blogs! And they’re everywhere! And we have to respond to everything they say, immediately! Otherwise Glen Beck will make fun of us! Wait a minute, he’s making fun of us anyway. FIRE MORE PEOPLE!”
Yes, there is that; why can’t they model the proper behavior for the rest of us? By ignoring Fox and their ilk? I believe it was the Right Wing who hyperventilated over wanting the Prez to be a “role model.” When it was Dubya.
Granted, that backfired horribly, but it is what they wanted.
